What is Ramadan? Ramadan is a blessed month in the year. In this month we all fastand pray taraweeh. Taraweeh is a specialprayer only prayed in Ramadan.

Did you know the Quran was revealed in the month of Ramadan? In this month, Muhammad (SAW) was sitting in the cave of Hira when the angel Jibreel appeared to him and commanded him, “Iqra,” which means read. This was the beginning of the revelation.

Did you know the shaitan is locked up in Ramadan so that we can focus on our worshipand so that we can obey Allah more?

Do you love Ramadan? I love Ramadan because I am encouraged to do more good deeds and I get to stay up with my mum and read stories of the prophets. I get so excited when I see all the Ramadan decorations.

In Ramadan we worship Allah more because we get more good deeds for our actions. We fast, pray taraweeh, keep our parents happy, read Quran and give charity more. We sleep less so we can pray, make dua and read Quran during the night.

Allah tells us to do all these good actions so we can get to Jannah in the next life inshaAllah.
