My homeschool learning

Assalam alaikum,

My name is Safiya and I am really looking forward to starting year 5 this year.

First let me tell you a bit more about me. I am 10 years old, and this is my second year of homeschooling. I have 4 siblings all BOYS!!!! And a cat ,her name is Gloria.

What do I like ?

I love to learn about arabic Calligraphy because I get to learn how write arabic in a beautiful way. I enjoy Taekwondo, it builds courage and strength.

I also like playing in the backyard because you can make up games and be very creative.

The last thing that I’ll tell you about my likes are: painting, when I paint I feel good about myself and proud of myself once I’m done.

My plan for this year:

Last year was a fantastic exciting year alhamdullillah. This year I’m planning for an extraordinary year. I will be learning about planets and stars in Science. I have been wanting to study astronomy for years, homeschooling gave me that opportunity, so I’m really looking forward to it.

Another subject I’m looking forward to is English, it is my favourite subject and I’m doing The Good and the Beautiful program. I really enjoy it and helps me improve my spelling, I love the readings and different ways they teach you grammar. And includes art which I LOVE!

The subject I enjoy the least is Maths but apart from that I enjoy studying.

I hope this year to be as exciting as I imagine inshaAllah.
