My Ramadan Poem

Ramadan is a chance

Not only to fast

But to strengthen our ibadah

And get closer to Allah

A chance to remove our sins

Locked up are the bad jinns

After a day of food very far

We get to have iftar

We go to taraweeh

And pray all eight

For we know

The reward is great

We pray witr

And in the last raka’

Make lots and lots of dua’

Now we are starting to yawn

We need to get to sleep

So we can get up for suhoor before next dawn
